We will plan to hold practice on Saturday at the Strathcona Wilderness Center rather than Kingswood Park. We will meet at 1pm at the day lodge.
Plan to bring equipment for both skate and classic techniques. We will focus our attention on classic technique if at all possible but we won't know what the conditions are like until we arrive so you should be prepared for both techniques.
Bring plenty of fluids and snacks and some warm clothes to change into after practice.
Remember that SWC charges a small fee for trail use. Also, any parents that wish to ski can take advantage of the rental program if you do not have equipment yourself.
