This is a GREAT opportunity for athletes to get in lots of skiing and technique work over the holidays. Everyone has been working hard on technique over the past 2 months, but we've had limited opportunity to track or distance ski. One of the best ways to improve your skiing now, will be to get out on the trails, ski lots and think technique, technique, technique. This camp will provide lots of opportunity to do this. Most of the camp will be at the Strathcona Wilderness Center, where the trails are now in good shape (they got a lot more snow than we did). Beckie Scott will be there on Tuesday to work with athletes!
Sunday, Jan. 1st, 2012 - There is a Troll in the Park Loppet - likely at Strathcona Center as well. This will be a classic technique event, with a mass start. Distances of 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, and 10km. Check www.coachles.blogspot.com for details later in the week.
